Bikram Yoga is a 90 minute series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a room heated to 105°F and 40% humidity. When practicing this series you systematically move fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of your body: every muscle, ligament, tendon, joint, organ is refreshed. 360°. This aids the body in it’s healing process, restoring all systems to a healthy working order just as nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well-being will automatically follow.
Owner/Instructor
Certified Bikram Yoga Teacher since 2012.
Amanda was introduced to Bikram Yoga in 2010 and was hooked from the beginning. Growing up playing sports left Amanda with several injuries and chronic skeletal issues. It was clear that there was tremendous healing potential in the yoga, so she began to practice daily. About one year after her first class Amanda attended the Bikram Yoga Teacher Training, and has been sharing 26+2 ever since. Amanda believes in yoga as therapy to heal the body from injury and chronic disease; and to heal the mind from stress and anxiety. She motivates students to find greater awareness, presence and a deeper acceptance of themselves on their mat, so they can find more joy and satisfaction off their mat. Amanda is honored to be able to share the gift of yoga with so many people. Outside of the hot room, you can find Amanda adventuring around the beaches with her husband, Wayne and 2 awesome kids, Jetty & Kai.

Shannon has always been into fitness, growing up running long distance, eventually taking the plunge into half and full marathon distances. She started practicing Bikram yoga in 2010 back in her hometown of Pittsburgh PA and was immediately hooked. She found herself rearranging her schedule to attend class. She quickly found that the yoga helps balance her other activities both physically and mentally making her a better runner, hiker, driver, partner, employee, etc. She and her husband love to travel always seeking out studios to sweat off jet lag. She’s had the opportunity to practice in several other countries/cities practicing in various languages including Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva, Budapest, Mexico, Bali, and Tokyo. They also enjoy attending yoga retreats at Casa Om in Mexico and most recently in Ubud, Bali. It was at these retreats that she was first introduced to Inferno Hot Pilates. Seeing instant results, she wanted to share IHP with her local studio! In 2019, she completed both IHP and 26&2 training. She enjoys sharing both of series and brings enthusiasm and a friendly smile to class.

Bethany Mathewson Perrotti began practicing yoga at Bikram Yoga Long Beach NY in August 2011 and quickly became passionate about the practice and its benefits. During her time in Long Beach, she completed a 30-day challenge, which involved attending a 90-minute class every day for 30 consecutive days. After taking classes for 7 years in Long Beach, she moved to Jacksonville Beach, FL in 2018, where she found Bikram Yoga Jax (now called 26&2 Hot Yoga Jax) and has been practicing there at least 3 times a week.
In her pursuit of further knowledge about the poses and benefits, Bethany decided to start formal teacher training in August 2023. She completed the training and received her teaching certificate from the Original Hot Yoga Academy 26 & 2 Hot Yoga Teacher Training in Las Vegas, NV in April 2024.
Bethany currently lives in Mandarin with her husband Danny (who also practices hot yoga), their dog Sandy and 3 cats (Pumpkin, Lola and Bruin.)
